The K-Music Festival 2025 is back for its twelfth year, bringing an extraordinary celebration of Korean music to London! ​ From 1st October to 20th November, immerse yourself in a genre-defying line-up of concerts that showcase the diversity, innovation and artistry of contemporary Korean music.

 

Festival Highlights:

  • Okkyung Lee with Mark Fell (1st October, Kings Place): A ground-breaking collaboration blending visceral cello improvisation and electronic soundscapes ​
  • JAMBINAI with the London Contemporary Orchestra (5th October, Barbican): Post-rock meets Korean folk in an electrifying orchestral performance ​
  • Hilgeum with Alice Zawadzki (18th October, Southbank Centre): A lyrical fusion of traditional Korean strings and British vocal artistry ​
  • Park Jiha (25th October, Royal Albert Hall): A radiant sonic meditation blending traditional Korean instruments with ambient and cinematic soundscapes ​
  • Won Il’s Dionysus Robot (14th November, Southbank Centre): A bold, interdisciplinary ritual performance featuring drag artist Jimin Mo ​
  • Gray by Silver (15th November, Royal Albert Hall): Jazz, classical, and Korean traditional music converge in an introspective, award-winning sound ​
  • Seong-Jin Cho with the London Symphony Orchestra (20th November, Barbican): The world premiere of a piano concerto by Dong-hoon Shin, performed by the internationally acclaimed pianist ​
