City of London – Seoul in the City

The City of London Festival will be held from 22 June to 17 July and this year features Seoul in the City.
Major events include :
• 25 June – Stationers’ Hall recital by pianist Sunwook Kim.
• 27 June – keynote lecture at Gresham College given by Sir Thomas Harris: “Britain’s relations with Korea: a personal view”.
• 15 July – at St Paul’s Cathedral the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Myung Whun Chung, performing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.
• 16 July – at Bishopsgate Institute the Kumho Asiana Soloists perform chamber music.
