This was a most enjoyable and relaxed evening reception on a fine evening out of doors in the City, with a good mix of age groups and some new faces. A sociable crowd of mixed provenance – European and Korean – gathered on the 6th floor terrace of hosts Laura Devine to enjoy delicious nibbles and drinks and attentive service. Lawyers were an integral part of the grouping but not dominant. Principal Laura Devine welcomed the assembly to which BKS chairman Warwick Morris responded with the Society’s grateful thanks to the firm for hosting the event. The Korea Tourist Organisation was on hand to provide information on the delights of Korea, and Sylvia Park was presented with a cake to celebrate her recently awarded MBE.
