At the start of the BKS’s 70th anniversary, members are invited to a very special evening with Dr Seunghye Sun, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre UK, at which she will deliver a valedictory lecture.
Marking the conclusion of her distinguished tenure in London, Dr Sun will share her personal reflections and professional insights on the meteoric rise of K-Culture. She will move beyond traditional concepts of ‘Soft Power’ to introduce her own aesthetics of “Emotional Hospitality” (Sinjeong), exploring how culture can heal and connect us in a divided world.
The event will be moderated by BKS Chairman, Simon Smith
Please reserve your place using our online booking form.
This event is jointly organised by the British Korean Society and the Korean Cultural Centre UK.
There will be a limit on places for this event, for which there is no charge. We will allocate places to BKS members on a first-come first served basis, with a waiting list if necessary.
